Welcome to the official blog of the new Pittsbugh Coaster Club! The idea behind this is to try and get group ticket rates to all the parks we travel to every year by centralizing the trip planning. All of the details for each trip will be contained in a blog post here. To sign up for a trip, reply in a comment below, leave a comment on the group facebook, message me on my personal facebook, or reply to the blog's twitter. You'll then be added to the count, but the tickets cannot be ordered until we get your money, I can't afford to get stuck paying for 10 tickets on my own! Anyone is welcome on the trips. Obviously, this has mainly been set up to prevent me from constantly having to group text every contact in my phone to set up a trip, but friends of friends and all others are always welcome. Also, those that are willing to drive to any for the trips should also contact me so we can carpool.
Now, down to business! Our first trip of the year will be May 8th, 2010 for Kennywood's opening day. Their new coaster, Sky Rocket, may or may not be ready by then, but it will still be a great day in the park.

Meeting: Vincentian Academy's parking lot
The biggest trip of the year is always Cedar Point. We're going before most of the high schools let out so there won't be lines. (Last time we rode Top Thrill Dragster 8 times in an hour, there was literally no line.)

When: May 25th
Tickets: $32 if we can get a group of 15 or more by May 17th. Otherwise, they're about $45, so go find people!
